Maribyrnong City Council will be hosting a series of free information sessions and workshops to help the community better understand how the NDIS works and provide insight and guidance on the NDIS application process.
The National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) is being rolled out in City of Maribyrnong in October 2018.
The NDIS will change the way people with disability, their families and carers receive support. It will empower and give people in the community more choice of services, and greater flexibility of supports.
If you live in the City of Maribyrnong and think you may be eligible for support through the NDIS you can test your eligibility.
Upcoming information sessions and workshops include:
Autism awareness NDIS workshops
in partnership with AMAZE
NDIS and children with disability workshops
in partnership with the Association for Children with a Disability (ACD)
NDIS and mental health workshops
in partnership with the Victorian Mental Illness Awareness Council (VMIAC)
