Unfortunately, many people face barriers to accessing healthcare.

• Between 2022 and 2023, the number of GP clinics in Australia offering bulk billing halved, with annual bulk-billing rates hit their lowest point in more than a decade.
• The increasing cost of living means people cannot afford to access the healthcare they need.
• We know that some groups in our community face multiple intersecting and unfair societal barriers to good health and wellbeing. These socio-economic factors contribute to greater health inequity across Australia.

cohealth works to reverse the decline in universal health coverage across Australia. By breaking down barriers and offering free and low-cost health services for all.

We specialise in the community health model, which involves team-based, multidisciplinary healthcare that brings GPs, allied health, nurses, dental, mental health and alcohol and drug support together to address the spectrum of people’s needs.

cohealth reduces health inequity by ensuring our services prioritise these groups who face the greatest barriers to accessing health and social support.
